There are essentially 3 types of construction projects being new builds, renovations and fit-outs. Click on the left for some examples of all of these types of constructions.

A new build is generally where we start with a block with a building on it that requires demolition or a vacant block of land. Typically, there will be earthworks (the removal of existing ground and then rebuilding the block to get the correct heights and ground levels) as per drawings prior commencement of the actual build.

  • Currently a dental practice
  • Currently a health or allied health practice or
  • A house style building

and then typically, gut the building, change around some walls and completely refurbish the building.

Fit-outs comprise the majority of dental practices. Generally we start with an office or a shop space that effectively contains a floor, the outside walls and a roof. Such a build comprises generally of a suspended ceiling, new walls, electricity and plumbing all inside the “shell.”

Sometimes, a renovation also includes an extension to an existing property
